SmartAccess Group
Multiple locks (SmartAccess Modules) have been detected in close proximity.
The locks are automatically combined into a SmartAccess Group sharing a common geofence.
This affects the following settings and functions:
- Geofence area
- Notifications
- KeylessGo and AutoUnlock
Geofence area
The geofence areas of the locks are merged.
The size of the common geofence area is automatically set to an optimal size and cannot be edited.
Notifications
When entering the common geofence area of a SmartAccess group, a group notification is sent instead of several individual messages.
Enabling/disabling notifications for entering the geofence area for a single SmartAccess Module applies this setting to all SmartAccess Modules within the SmartAccess Group.
KeylessGo & AutoUnlock
Use KeylessGo or AutoUnlock only for one door within a SmartAccess Group.
For security reasons, keyless entry is limited to one door per SmartAccess Group. Once KeylessGo or AutoUnlock is used on one door, it’s disabled for all others in the group.
To stay in control for which door keyless entry is activated, we recommend keeping KeylessGo or AutoUnlock enabled on just one door in a SmartAccess Group.
